Summer Nights are Manchester Art Gallery's popular free evening events.

Our special Summer Nights event on 28 July is a party to celebrate black style and culture, inspired by the exhibition Black British Style, at Manchester Art Gallery until 4 Sept.

From celebrity fashion to Rasta culture, from streetwear to Sunday dressing, Black British Style explores the fashion and style of black people in Britain over the past 50 years.

Come along with friends, dress in your best black British style, see the exhibition and enjoy a great party at Manchester Art Gallery, with:

  • Guinness® Foreign Extra Stout and Smirnoff® Ice at the bar
  • Music from DJ Tomlin McKinley and singers Urban Voice
  • Live art performance by Neequaye Dreph
  • Black British Style prize draw and 10% off in the Gallery shop
